LIGHTMAGIC is my personal underwater photography project.
It grew from two things that work particularly well together: diving and photography. The camera gives me a reason to look more carefully, stay with a subject a little longer and notice animals I might otherwise have swum straight past.
I am interested in the whole underwater world, but macro life has a particular pull. Nudibranchs, small reef creatures and the strange details hidden in ordinary-looking places can be every bit as fascinating as the larger animals everyone hopes to meet.
LIGHTMAGIC is not intended to be a commercial dive guide or a scientific database. It is a collection of photographs, places and encounters from time spent underwater.
